The evidence changes.
The history shouldn’t.

Measurement assurance, with a memory. Connecting the evidence behind a quality decision to what happens next.

A SOFTWARE-DEFINED PLATFORM

More than a reading.
The basis for a decision.

Manufacturers use measurements to determine whether products meet their requirements. However, a later calibration result or reference check can raise questions about measurements used to accept material earlier.

MEPTRAQ connects measurement results with their supporting evidence and production history. It helps quality teams understand why a decision was made, identify changes that affect that decision and trace the production requiring further attention.

01 / MEASURE

Instrument readings

Connect measurements from existing equipment to the material and inspection context.

02 / REFERENCE

Calibration & checks

Link calibration records and reference checks to the readings they support.

03 / QUALIFY

Measurement uncertainty

Keep the uncertainty and evidential basis visible alongside the measured value.

04 / CONTEXTUALISE

Specifications

Retain the specification and decision context used for the original assessment.

05 / CONNECT

Production history

Associate evidence and decisions with the relevant rolls, batches and production history.

06 / REASSESS

Traceable change

Identify dependent decisions when evidence changes. Add a reassessment without overwriting the original.

INITIAL APPLICATION

A focused starting point.
Battery manufacturing.

MEPTRAQ’s initial application is electrode thickness inspection after calendering in battery manufacturing. The focus is on whether a quality decision remains defensible when subsequent calibration or reference evidence changes its basis.

MEPTRAQ / INITIAL APPLICATION

Follow the evidence
back to the material.

The intended benefits are faster investigations, more focused reinspection and less avoidable material loss. Quality professionals retain responsibility for manufacturing decisions.

MEPTRAQ does not replace existing instruments or the manufacturer’s release authority.

ACCOUNTING FOR CHANGE

A new assessment.
Not a rewritten past.

Explore a simple dependency example. Changing Reference A flags only its two linked rolls for review. The original assessment remains visible.

01

Record the basis.

Capture the evidence supporting the original decision.

02

Identify the dependency.

Find which decisions rely on the evidence that changed.

03

Reassess, then trace.

Review evidential support and identify the potentially affected production.

Evidence, connected.

USEFUL DISTINCTIONS

Clarity about the scope.

Is this a replacement for our instruments?

No. MEPTRAQ is designed to connect evidence from existing instruments with calibration, reference and production records. It is not a replacement measurement instrument.

Does it automatically release or reject material?

No. It supports accountable quality decisions and targeted review. Release authority remains with the manufacturer. An evidence-change flag does not, on its own, mean a batch is defective.

Can we evaluate it in a manufacturing setting?

We welcome conversations with quality teams about MEPTRAQ and suitable evaluation settings. Technical evaluation, data permissions and responsibilities will be agreed for the relevant manufacturing process. Independent industrial validation forms part of our development programme.
